Who hates Celebrities?

I don't hate them. I feel sorry for how they end up. Such beautiful, talented people: Janis Joplin,Cass Eliot, Brad Renfro, River Phoenix, Jonathan Brandis, John Belushi, Elvis... It often isn't the celeb's fault, it's their handlers/managers/friends, riding the gravy train, refusing to look out for their best interests, milking their stardom, burning them out, feeding them drugs to keep them going, spoiling them by never denying them anything, never telling them when they're sliding off track. From Brad Renfro's first arrest for public drunkenness, the clock started ticking down to his predictable fatal OD. Whether Justin is talented or not or is a nice kid or not, he makes people happy -- I hope he doesn't fall down the rat hole like his predecessors, but the odds are he will. The Jonas Brothers still seem to be in good shape, but they don't seem to have their parents selling them out.
