Love this girl, need advice?

Ladies do recall a time when you meet a guy. What attention grabber did he use, introduction. I want to talk to this girl, before I do I would like your advice on something nice to say. I like poetry and wanted to write something nice for her, but was told that's being weak and too strong at the same time. What do you think.
